when you're trying to find the intersection of a line that is tangent to a circle when no equation for the circle is given but an equation for the radius of the circle is you would just find the slope of the lines and find where the intersect...correct?

Ch 11 Review

Can anyone help me with these problems?( 14c,d,e)

When I did c ( six roots of root 3 + i), I ended up with r = 2^(1/6) & 6T= pi/6 + 2pi i

I missed the example during class for finding what -3 + 2i is a cube root of..

For e,  is root 2 ^(3) the same as 6 root 2?

chapter 11 review

i was wondering if anyone could help me with two questions on the review...

for #13 letter c. i'm not getting (2-root2)cis(5pi/12)

i keep getting just (root2)cis(5pi/12)

also for #16 letter b. i'm not sure how to get [(x^2+y^2-2x)]^2
